RARITAN, NJ - Raritan Borough is reporting that construction on Anderson and Thompson streets, with limits from Route 202 to the railroad tracks, is scheduled to begin Tuesday.
According to Top Line Construction Corporation, the first phase will consist of removing and replacing existing curbs, sidewalks and aprons in various locations. Residents will be notified and asked to park their vehicles on adjacent side roads or areas of the street where the work is not taking place.
In addition, the note said, residents will be asked to not park in their driveways until 48 hours after work is done.
Working hours will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and there will be alternating traffic in areas of construction.
The second phase will consist of milling the existing road and installing a new asphalt surface course. Residents will receive further notice before the work begins.
