BRIDGEWATER, NJ - For the past 15 years, employees of the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey have joined together for “Sharing the Warmth of the Season” by fulfilling the wishes of 2-legged and 4-legged members of the community.

According to a release, gifts are collected from more than 250 volunteers, on a volunteer basis, and they are donated to Alternatives, Inc., a nonprofit that provides services to those with special needs to help them reach their highest level of independence and integration into the community. They also help the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter, based in Bridgewater.

The management team of SCLSNJ joined forces to donate, on a volunteer basis, gifts for six children through Court Appointed Special Advocates of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren (CASA SHaW). The organization is a non-profit committed to advocating for children in foster care.
