SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ - Residents are being warned by Somerset County to ignore any automated robocalls they might be receiving regarding a change in their polling locations.

According to a release from the county, these calls are a scam, say Somerset County Election Board Administrator Jerry Midgette and Somerset County Clerk Steve Peter.

The release said the Board of Elections and County Clerk's Office have received reports of calls like this from residents in several towns.

Residents should look at the sample ballots they received in the mail for the correct voting locations.

In Bridgewater, those in District 31 are seeing a change in their voting location, but people outside that district who received the call should ignore it. All others were called mistakenly, and messages from both the Republican and Democratic campaign Facebook pages have been reminding residents to check their ballots or call the Election Board.

District 31 residents now vote at the Bradley Gardens Firehouse, as Country Hills Fire Department is no longer a polling place.

Those with questions can call the Board of Elections at 908-231-7084.

Elections will be held Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
