On July 16, the park will welcome Darlene Love. Love was discovered by Phil Spector in the early 1960s, and began by singing backup for artists like Tom Jones, The Righteous Brothers, Dionne Warwick, Marvin Gaye and Elvis Presley.

Love has a number of Billboard hits, has appeared in several major motion pictures and has appeared on Broadway. In 2011, she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

July 23 will feature the Boy Band Project, a creative boy band cover group that reimagines the songs of American and British groups that were popular during the 90s and the next generation. Bands they cover include ‘NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Hanson, One Direction, Boys II Men and O-Town.

On July 30, the park commission will hold its Blues Fest featuring Bob Lanza Blues Band from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The band has played for years with Floyd Phillips and the Mudflaps, and backed legends like James Cotton.

The evening will continue that same night with The Tyrone Stackhouse Group at 7 p.m. They play the hits of the 60s and 70s, and embrace R&B, soul, jazz and the blues.

The series will conclude Aug. 6 with the third annual food truck fest featuring The Duprees. There will be a variety of food trucks selling a range of culinary delights, beginning at 6 p.m., with the music beginning at 7 p.m.

The Duprees are known for their romantic interpretations of some of the most beautiful love songs ever written.
