Creative Arts Committee Holds Open House, Celebrates Local Art

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater Township Creative Arts Committee held its open house celebration Oct. 21, with dancers, singers and artists showing off their talents.

The exhibit, which is displayed throughout the Bridgewater Township Municipal Building, features photographs, paintings and much more.

The open house celebration featured performances from students at Gotta Dance, as well as local singers.

“To me, the arts is the universal language,” said township councilman Filipe Pedroso, who is the liaison to the arts committee.

Bridgewater Township Mayor Dan Hayes said he wants to encourage artists to continue sharing their talents.

“It is a great gift to everyone if we get our children to share their talents,” he said.

The exhibit in the municipal building will be open through Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
