Crime Stoppers Award Offered for Information Regarding Bridgewater Bank Robbery

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson has announced that Crime Stoppers of Somerset County Inc. is offering a reward of up to $500 for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the man who robbed the Finderne branch office of the Peapack-Gladstone Bank Jan. 30, according to a release.

According to Robertson, at about 3 p.m. Jan. 30, Bridgewater Township Police responded to an alarm activation at the bank. Employees at the bank told officers that an unknown male approached a bank teller and handed over a note announcing the robbery, Robertson said.

Robertson said the suspect then fled from the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
