BRIDGEWATER, NJ - I had the unique opportunity to serve as an interim board member three years ago. I found it to be a very rewarding experience, giving back to our community and our children who are the foundation of our community’s future.
I support the district’s technology and learning initiatives. In order to constantly improve, we need to examine our current practices vs. proven education trends in order to ensure that our students have the best learning experience possible. We can continue to balance this against the costs associated with our high quality programs, ensuring fiscal responsibility while increasing our academic offerings.
I look forward to supporting and advancing the full day kindergarten initiative. I believe that this will continue to strengthen our children’s academic platform and also keep our community desirable and competitive.
I bring a different voice and perspective to the board, having served in the military and now working as an instructor for electrical journeyman. I have a strong belief in education and our responsibility to prepare the next generation for life and leadership. As I have learned in other life experiences, it can be more effective to change things from the inside, and I’m pleased to be considered again to help shape our school community by serving on the board of education.
Thank you for your support in November.
