District Celebrates Number of Retirees This Year

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School Board of Education recently recognized all the teachers and staff who are retiring from the district this year, several with over 25 years of service.

Those retiring this year were:

  • John Gerwer, Jr., Buildings and Grounds, 30 years
  • Mindy Hoppe, BRHS LDTC, 16 years
  • Steven Jankoski, BRHS Special Ed Teacher, 16 years
  • Emilie Golis, BRMS Mathematics Teacher, 26 years
  • Susan McLane, Milltown Special Education Assistant, 12 years
  • Angela Walker, Milltown Special Education Assistant, 15 years
  • Silvana Fabian, BRMS Instructional Assistant, 14 years
  • Marie Hall, JFK Cafe/Play Assistant, 19 years
  • Lani Montgomery, Adamsville Art Teacher, 27 years
  • Donna Sherman, BRMS Nurse, 18 years
  • Diane Memoli, Van Holten Intervention Specialist, 28 years

Bridgewater Police Investigating Report of $2K Worth of Tools Stolen from Car, According to Report

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are investigating a report of a theft of more than $2,000 from a vehicle parked at the Home Depot, in the Bridgewater Towne Center, according to a report.

A Hillsborough resident reported June 3 at about 5:58 p.m. that his vehicle had been burglarized while parked at the Home Depot. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. and 5:50 p.m.
