BRIDGEWATER, NJ - With the district's new strategic plan and work in place, the administration is inviting the public at large to participate in the work.

In the 2016-2017 school year, the district established a new five-year strategic plan, with teams created to focus on a number of areas identified as concerns by community members during studies last year.

Those action teams are for communication, health and wellness, program, safety, sustainability and technology. Each action area is described on the district website with information at https://goo.gl/JmoLxZ.

The district is asking parents and guardians to take part in a survey, which asks whether they would like additional information about joining a specific action team, and if they would like to be kept informed about the work of the team.

"By completing the survey, you are not making any type of commitment," Superintendent Russell Lazovick said in a letter on the district website. "You are only signaling to us that you would like more specific information."

The survey can be found at https://goo.gl/forms/1gEbufsx3VJuM0IL2. It will be open from now until Oct. 6.

The action teams are expected to be put together and begin their work in October.
