SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ - In addition to the local and board of education elections this year, there are a few county and state-wide elections coming up Nov. 3.
For New Jersey Assembly District 23, which includes Bridgewater and Raritan, incumbent Republicans John DiMaio and Erik Peterson are running for two open two-year term seats against Democrats Maria Rodriguez and Marybeth Maciag.
For Somerset County Surrogate, incumbent Frank Bruno is running against Christian Mastondrea for one five-year term.
Finally, there are two open seats on the Somerset County Board of Chosen Freeholders, for three-year terms.
Republican incumbents Patrick Scaglione and Mark Caliguire are running against Democrats Brian Regan and Patrick O’Connell.
