ELLE Foundation Announces Designer Purse Bingo Fundraiser


BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater’s own ELLE Foundation announces its annual fundraiser, One ELLE of a Night Designer Purse Bingo, May 3 at 7 p.m. at the Somerville ELKS Lodge, 375 Union Avenue, Bridgewater, NJ

The evening features a designer purse bingo, as well as a basket raffle and silent auction.

A total of 100 percent of the funds raised on this special evening will help the foundation continue our important mission to grant final wishes for children battling a recurrence of cancer.

Tickets are $35 for 10 games. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event; checks and cash only, please.

Be sure to bring your lucky charms and favorite bingo snacks.

Putting together a bingo table? Be sure to have one person create a "TABLE RESERVATION NAME," and share it so that everyone can include the table name in their reservation.

Car Fire in Wendy's Parking Lot Deemed Not Suspicious, Bridgewater Police Say

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police responded to a car fire in the parking lot of Wendy's, on Route 22 East April 9, but the fire was not deemed suspicious, according to a report.

According to the report, an unoccupied 2003 Infinity G35 caught fire. A 2010 Honda CRV, which was parked next to it, was also damaged in the fire.

Bateman Bill to Require Training, Licensing for Pet Groomers

TRENTON, NJ - Sen. Christopher "Kip" Bateman (R-16) will introduce legislation to increase protections for family pets by requiring pet groomers to be properly trained and licensed following the deaths of three dogs in five months at different New Jersey pet salons.
