Businesses, families, organizations or individuals are encouraged to demonstrate their commitment to making a difference in the lives of children battling a recurrence of cancer by buying a ticket to the event or making a donation. According to foundation president, Laurie Richmond, the ELLE Foundation is the only wish-granting organization whose sole mission is to grant final second wishes for children with a recurrence of cancer.

“As the average wish costs between $4,000 and $8,000, we need your support to attain our goal to never turn a wish child away due to a lack of funds. With time being of the essence, and treatment options coming to an end, final wishes require an extraordinary financial commitment and a time-critical response. These children and their families NEED and WANT a moment of joy in their lives. And although we cannot grant the one final wish every family with a child battling a recurrence of cancer wants, with your support, we can be there for them and help create memories that their hearts will treasure forever.”

The Elle Foundation is a GuideStar Gold 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is operated on a 100% volunteer basis. 93% of every dollar raised goes directly to granting wishes. Thanks to our generous sponsors and donors we have granted over 27 wishes just in the past 6 years.

In Loving Memory of Lauren “Elle” Elizabeth Richmond

"I know the joyful times your organization brings about are meant especially for the children, but ultimately it’s the loved ones left behind who will be holding those precious moments of happiness close to their aching hearts. And that's such a wonderful gift to be giving them, as well."

The (Wrong) Advice Your Doctor Gave You

It's all too often that a patient comes to my clinic afraid to squat because their Doctor had told them "it's bad for your knees."

Patients seem confused when I smile back and ask, "How did you just sit down and stand up out of that chair if you aren't able to squat?"

You see, advice like this is handed out all too often, and I'm on a mission to have ...
