Game-Worn, Autographed Somerset Patriots Jerseys Auctioned July 7


BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Somerset Patriots fans have the opportunity to own a uniform jersey worn by a member of the team during the July 7 game against the Sugar Land Skeeters.

These commemorative jerseys, a tribute to the USA, are to be worn only once during the 2017 season.

During the game, which is sponsored by Operation Shoebox New Jersey, fans can purchase tickets and drop them into a bucket with the name of their favorite Patriot(s).

Tickets will be drawn from the buckets near the end of the game. The names of the winners will be posted on a notice board next to the Operation Shoebox New Jersey display table.

The jerseys will be signed by the players in the clubhouse following the game, bagged, and brought upstairs to be presented to the winners. There will also be a fireworks display.

This is the sixth year that Operation Shoebox New Jersey has partnered with the Somerset Patriots to promote the sale of commemorative red, white and blue jerseys.

Gates open at 6 p.m. A display with the uniforms and buckets will be on the concourse near the main entrance, behind section 201 and adjacent to the press box.

The gamem is scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m. and will be followed by a fireworks display.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Piscataway woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after she was stopped on Route 22 East Feb. 24, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.
