BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Bridgewater-Raritan girls basketball team opened the Section 2, Group 4 state tournament with a 45-25 victory over North Hunterdon Tuesday night.

Keiko Fox scored 13 points for BRHS (18-7), which opened a 15-5 lead after a quarter. The Panthers led, 28-11, at halftime.

Teresa Wolak scored nine points and Meghan Ball finished with eight for the second-seeded Panthers, who will host seventh-seeded Ridge at 7 p.m. Thursday in the sectional quarterfinal.
