BRIDGEWATER, NJ -- The Bridgewater-Raritan girls lacrosse team scored 11 goals in the first half and went on to an 18-9 victory over Montgomery in the quarterfinal round of the Section 2, Group 4 state tournament on Friday.

Sadie Herman scored three goals and Tai Jankowski, who had three assists, Lizzy Escudero, Kalie Moore and Jackie Salvatore each scored two goals for the Panthers (16-3), who had an 11-4 lead at halftime.

Reilly Januzzi tied Jankowski for the most assists with three, and Meghan Ball had seven draw controls for BRHS.
