BRIDGEWATER, NJ -- Tai Jankowski scored five goals to lead Bridgewater-Raritan to an 18-8 girls lacrosse victory over Pingry for the Somerset County Tournament championship Saturday at the Torpey Complex.

Lizzu Escudero scored four goals and assisted on one for the Panthers (15-3), who broke away from an 8-6 halftime edge by outscoring Pingry, 10-2, in the second half.

Madison Bray finished with three goals and one assist, Kalie Moore had two goals and an assist, Julieann Murphy doled out three assists to go with one goal, and Sadie Herman, McKenna Moore and Corinne Nickel each scored one goal for BRHS.

Lailah El Bouazzaoui chipped in with two assists for Bridgewater, which outshot Pingry, 25-12.
