BRIDGEWATER, NJ -- Tai Jankowski scored six goals and assisted on one to power Bridgewater-Raritan to a 20-12 girls lacrosse victory over Hunterdon Central for the Section 2, Group 4 championship on Friday.

Madison Bray (two assists) and Lizzy Escudero (one assist) each fired in five goals for the Panthers (18-3), who broke away from a three-goal halftime lead by outscoring the Red Devils, 10-5, in the second half.

Sadie Herman scored the other four BRHS goals, and also assisted on one. Kalie Moore led Bridgewater-Raritan in assists with three. Meghan Ball came up with 11 draw controls and Gia Mitchell made seven saves in the victory.
