BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Tai Jankowski scored six goals and assisted on two to lead Bridgewater-Raritan to a 20-7 girls lacrosse victory over Watchung Hills in the opening round of the Section 2, Group 4 state tournament on Thursday.

Sadie Herman scored three goals for BRHS (15-4), which led, 11-4, at the half. CJ Amster finished with two goals and three assists, and Lizzy Escudero, Julieann Murphy and Allie Carter each connected for two goals for the Panthers.

Meghan Ball, Dara Tracy and Heather Stires each scored one goal in the victory. Kelsey Kaplowitz made 10 saves.
