Hillsborough Rotary Fair: Fun Place to Do Business

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - The Rotary Club of Hillsborough will provide local businesses multiple opportunities to showcase their services and connect directly with customers at its 11th annual Rotary Fair, scheduled this year for Aug. 14–19.

More than 15,000 people from Hillsborough and surrounding communities are expected to visit the weeklong family event held at the Hillsborough Promenade, 315 Route 206, adjacent to the Lowe’s parking lot.

“Meeting prospective customers at a highly regarded community event can do a great deal to boost a company’s image and customer base,” said Anthony Franchini, president of the Rotary Club of Hillsborough. “Community members deeply appreciate those businesses that demonstrate their community support through events like this.”

Businesses have the option of purchasing a $300 sign that will be displayed at the Fair throughout the week, or a $600 tented space that provides an opportunity to meet and talk with guests. Tent availability is limited. Orders will be handled on a first come, first served basis.

The Rotary Club of Hillsborough has over 40 active members from Hillsborough and surrounding communities.   Members include business and professional leaders who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.  The Hillsborough Rotary serves the Hillsborough community.  All funds raised at the Rotary Fair are donated back to community projects. The Hillsborough Rotary Club meets every Wednesday, at 6 pm, at The Landing Restaurant, 311 Amwell Road. New members are welcome.

Somerville Woman Arrested for Shoplifting from Macy's, According to Bridgewater Police Report

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Somerville woman was arrested for allegedly shoplifting more than $400 worth of merchandise from Macy's at the Bridgewater Commons Mall July 7, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.

Rutgers Hikes Tuition, Student Fees for 2018-2019 Academic Year
