BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Councilman Matthew Moench is sponsoring the fourth annual holiday drive to benefit the Raritan Pregnancy Aid Center.
The center is an all-volunteer organization that helps pregnant women and new mothers in their time of need.
“For the past three years, residents of Bridgewater and surrounding communities have stepped up to participate in our annual holiday drive to benefit the Raritan Pregnancy Aid Center,” he said in a release. “Each year, we have been fortunate enough to donate more than the previous year and I hope that this year, we can exceed all prior years combined.”
Moench said the center has been supporting women from Bridgewater, Raritan and surrounding communities for three decades, helping those with new babies, but without the necessary resources. The center provides for them through education, care and more.
“This worthy organization needs our help in continuing its important work,” he said. “I encourage residents to consider supporting the Raritan Pregnancy Aid Center that gives so generously to new and expectant mothers and families in their time of need.”
Items needed by the center include diapers, baby wipes, baby wash, diaper rash cream, baby bottles, sippy cups and Similac forumula. Donations can be dropped off at the Bridgewater Township Clerk’s office through Jan. 8.
