BRIDGEWATER, NJ - At the 2014 Bridgewater-Raritan High School Homecoming festivities, Bryan Harvey and Samantha Berrios were named King and Queen — and the two recently talked about their win on a weekly episode of What's Up Wednesday, one of BR-TVs homeroom news programs.

According to BRHS teacher Christopher Black, Harvey, a special needs student at the school, had many of his classmates actively lobbying for him to be named king. Even members of the Homecoming Court were lobbying for Harvey's win, Black said.

"As a BRHS teacher, it makes me extremely proud to see the students demonstrate this type of character," Black said.
