Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates Has Moved to Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates has expanded into Somerset County to further meet the needs of their growing patient population.  They are committed to increasing the quality of care and patient access.  

The new office is located at 1121 Route 22 West Suite 201 in Bridgewater.  Their physicians are board certified and ranked amongst the state’s top physicians.  

The Hunterdon Heart and Vascular Center is in the same suite as Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and superior physicians and staff.  The Hunterdon Heart and Vascular Center offers clinical and diagnostic services including Echocardiography, Stress Echocardiography, Electrocardiography, Exercise Stress Testing, Nuclear Stress Testing, Holter Monitoring, Carotid Doppler, Ultrasound, Duplex Arterial and Venous Ultrasound, and ABI.

Dr. Yaser Elnahar will be offering a free educational program for community members in our Bridgewater Office.  The topic is called “Women and Heart Disease: Are you at Risk?”  This educational program will be primarily about how women’s vascular disease differs in symptoms and presentation from men.  The presentation will be on Tuesday, February 7th at 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  This program will also be offered at Hunterdon Medical Center Auditorium on Thursday, February 2nd at 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  To register for either event please call 908-788-6157.  

Dr. Elnahar is one of Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associate’s newest physicians.  He completed his medical education from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies.  He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey.  He served as Chief Cardiologist during his fellowship at St. Joseph’s.  Dr. Elnahar has publications in the Journal of Atrial Fibrillation, the Journal of Clinical Medicine and Research, Reports in Medical Imaging, and more.  Dr. Elnahar is also fluent in Arabic and Spanish.

Raritan Police: Warren Man Arrested for DWI and More in Police Blotter

RARITAN, NJ - A Warren man was arrested Feb. 1 for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle violation, according to a report from Raritan Borough Police.

Wayne Krause, 68, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and speeding after being pulled over on Route 22 West.

Krause was processed and released pending a court appearance.
