SOMERSET, NJ - Bridgewater-Raritan built a three-goal lead after two periods and held on for a 5-1 ice hockey victory over Hillsborough Thursday afternoon.

Austin Petersen scored at the very end of the opening period to give Bridgewater-Raritan (7-5-3) a 1-0 lead. Second-period goals by Jake Gottlieb and Brett Locker extended the Panther lead to 3-0.

Jake Goldstein netted a pair of goals in the third quarter for BRHS. Gottlieb and Ben Matton-Conover each had two assists in the victory. Matt Flaim came up with 22 saves for the Panthers.
