BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Each week, two students at Bridgewater-Raritan High School will be honored as students of the week.
Students are chosen by teachers and staff in the high school.
The students of the week for the week of Feb. 8 are:
- Taylor Kelly - (nominated by Kathleen Doherty) Taylor Kelly is not only an outstanding athlete, but also a very kind and compassionate person. When Taylor raced at the NJ indoor track state relays, a girl from another school tripped and fell during her race. Without hesitating, Taylor helped the girl up and made sure she was OK, sacrificing seconds off her own time. As if that was not enough, last week Taylor came running up to me to tell me she found my lost hat on the ground in the 100 building. I cannot say enough about Taylor and her kindness. She is a great example of what kind of student athletes we have at BR, and she deserves to be recognized.
- Chris Solan - (nominated by Mary Ann Walczuk) Chris is an exemplary student in every way. He is kind, polite and works well on group projects. He is always on task and ready to answer any question relating to the lesson. He enjoys working on the stock market game and is always ready to improve his stock portfolio to show the most return on investment.
Editors Note - Every week we will publish the BRHS Students of the Week. Congratulations to all those students recognized.
