Kendall Park Man Arrested for Marijuana Possession, According to Bridgewater Township Police Report


BRIDGEWATER, - A Kendall park resident was arrested Feb. 20 when he was found with marijuana after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 22 East, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.

Sachin Mahashabde, 21, was charged with being in possession of marijuana after he was stopped for the motor vehicle complaint.

He was also issued summonses for obstructed license plate, possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mahashabde was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.

Police made several other arrests for shoplifting and more.

  • Bryan Mendez-Ramirez, 23, of Hillsborough, was charged with shoplifting Feb. 12 after allegedly being found with $61 worth of merchandise from Target at the Promenade Shopping Center. He was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.
  • Thomas Cirillo III, 52, of Branchburg, was arrested for shoplifting Feb. 19 after allegedly being found with $120 worth of merchandise from Lord & Taylor in the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Cirillo was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.
  • Wilfredo Beltran, 68, of Newark, was arrested Feb. 22 for an outstanding warrant. He was lodged in the Somerset County Jail.
  • Michael Murphy, 34, of Clinton, was arrested Feb. 23 at about 8:45 p.m. for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle complaint on Route 22 West. Murphy was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, speeding, failure to maintain a lane of travel and failure to signal a lane change. He was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.
