BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Each week, two students at Bridgewater-Raritan High School will be honored as students of the week.

Students are chosen by teachers and staff in the high school.

The students of the week for the week of Nov. 27 are:

  • Malhar Lakshman - (nominated by Katie Cassidy) Malhar is a very kind caring young man who looks for opportunities to give to others. A few weeks ago, Malhar had an idea - his mother is a photographer and they have started offering photoshoots for families and businesses. Instead of being paid for their services they have asked the families and businesses to make a donation to either St. Jude's or the animal shelter. To date, $5,000 has been donated to these organizations. Malhar spends long days with his mother carrying equipment, getting people organized and helping to set up the shots. The photographs are beautiful and these two very worthy organizations are getting very generous donations.
  • Hannah Roberts - (nominated by Diane Setcavage) As soon as Hannah walks in, she brings happiness and kindness into the classroom. Her sunny disposition is contagious, which creates a wonderful classroom environment for all her peers and teacher too. Hannah possesses the awesome characteristics of being an intelligent, hardworking, driven individual, while maintaining the qualities of being a gentle, humble, giving person. It has been a pleasure meeting and instructing Hannah. She truly has been a positive healthy addition to our class.

Editors Note - Every week we will publish the BRHS Students of the Week. Congratulations to all those students recognized.
