LANCASTER, PA – An eighth-inning rally for the Somerset Patriots (27-30, 70-58) led the way in a 7-6 victory over the Lancaster Barnstormers (32-26, 70-58) Monday afternoon at Clipper Magazine Stadium.

Somerset opened the scoring with a five-run top of the third inning. Aharon Eggleston (4) led off the inning with a solo home run to right-center field, before Kyle Roller lined a three-run double to left-center field. Mark Minicozzi added a sacrifice fly later in the inning to top off the five-run third.

Lancaster responded with five unanswered runs in the fourth and fifth innings to tie the game. A three-run home run from Josh Bell (5) in the fourth brought the Barnstormers within two at the time. A run-scoring error and a two-out RBI single from Lance Zawadzki in the fifth leveled the score at 5-5.
