WARREN, NJ – In honor of April being National Autism Awareness Month, LearningRx (www.LearningRx.com), the world’s largest personal brain training company, is offering a free Cognitive Skills Assessment and consultation to anyone with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis.
An assessment provides a cognitive skills profile, identifying strengths and weaknesses in those underlying skills. Cognitive skills are the foundational tools we used to think, learn, and remember; they include logic & reasoning, auditory and visual processing, memory, attention, and processing speed.
Once the weak brain skills are identified, they can be targeted with intensive personal brain training. Unlike digital brain games, one-on-one brain training uses customized exercises and incorporates immediate feedback, intensity, and loading, among other features, to work on brain skills.
“Although our personal brain training addresses all cognitive skills, we tailor each program to meet the needs of the individual,” says Mike DiCristino, owner of LearningRx Warren. “Because the autism spectrum covers a wide range of deficits and functions, it’s vital that we create a unique program to match the student’s needs and skill sets.”
Anyone with an ASD diagnosis who completes the Cognitive Skills Assessment and consultation will receive a free one hour Zoom training session from LearningRx Warren. LearningRx Warren is an approved DDD goods & services provider.
