BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Each week, two students at Bridgewater-Raritan High School will be honored as students of the week.

Students are chosen by teachers and staff in the high school.

The students of the week for the week of May 22 are:

  • Kevin Li - (nominated by Dustin Frey) I've had the opportunity to have Kevin in class for two separate years (geometry and pre-calculus) and he is by far one of the top students I've had in all my years. He consistently brings the same energy and excitement to the classroom. I'm sure he has bad days, but you would never know it from speaking to him. His grades show a student that applies himself inside and outside of the classroom and takes his work seriously but what sets him apart is his kind and enjoyable demeanor. His attitude sets an example for his classmates, but is also one that helps others relax and find the joy in life. Having Kevin in class for these two years has not only made my job easier and more enjoyable, but I believe has helped his peers feel better about themselves on a daily basis.
  • Luanne Kroeckel - (nominated by Liz Demeyer) Luanne is always helpful and has a positive attitude at all times. She is well prepared, respectful and sets an example for other students. She always puts forth her best effort in her academic work, but, equally importantly, she is kind and considerate. She came to me highly recommended by her ninth grade teacher, Ms. Fitzsimmons, and has lived up to expectations.

Editors Note - Every week we will publish the BRHS Students of the Week. Congratulations to all those students recognized.
