BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Manville woman was arrested July 29 for shoplifting after allegedly being found with more than $1,000 worth of merchandise from Target at the Promenade Shopping Center, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.

Dana Hawkins, 33, was charged with shoplifting after being found with merchandise totaling $1,110.

Hawkins was processed and released pending a court appearance.

Police made other arrests for outstanding warrants and shoplifting at the beginning of August.

  • Charles Cathcart, 44, of New Brunswick, was arrested Aug. 7 for an outstanding warrant. He was placed in the Somerset County Jail.
  • Asa Panatero, 35, of Manville, was arrested Aug. 8 for an outstanding warrant. She was placed in the Somerset County Jail.
  • Mary Ellen Stewart, 60, of Warren, was arrested Aug. 11 for shoplifting after allegedly being found with merchandise with a total value of $127 from Target at the Promenade Shopping Center. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.
