BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Each week, two students at Bridgewater-Raritan High School will be honored as students of the week.
Students are chosen by teachers and staff in the high school.
The students of the week for the week of Feb. 9 are:
- Samuel Meyers - (nominated by Chris Levin) Sam is a stand-up individual and student. He brings the perfect balance of fun and learning to class every day. He doesn't hesitate to share stories, ask inquisitive questions and will often make great connections to current events. More importantly, Sam does a great job of helping to foster a relaxed atmosphere in class in which all students feel comfortable contributing and being themselves. This is especially impressive considering our economics class ranges from freshman to seniors. His contributions to student government and the student body as a whole are also highly laudable. Overall, Sam is a class act who truly exemplifies all the characteristics we value here at B-R.
- Colleen Carroll - (nominated by Justine Ide) Colleen is a dedicated and thoughtful student. She often helps others. Today, there were a few almonds on the floor and Colleen picked them up right away after hearing that another student was allergic to them.
Editors Note - Every week we will publish the BRHS Students of the Week. Congratulations to all those students recognized.
