BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Each week, two students at Bridgewater-Raritan High School will be honored as students of the week.

Students are chosen by teachers and staff in the high school.

The students of the week for the week of May 1 are:

  • Taylor Miller - (nominated by Barbara Hopkins) Taylor is someone I would describe as "everybody's friend." He is one of the most selfless students in my class. He regularly helps a student who needs help with his wheelchair without prompting. He works easily with each and every student in the class. He is a pleasure to teach.
  • Sonia David - (nominated by Jenn Haff) Sonia David has been a dedicated French Club officer for two years. She has worked with the other French Club officers to organize numerous events, including several cooking activities, a game day and two field trips to elementary schools to teach about France and the French culture. Sonia was always one of the first to offer to help with any task, and has been hard working and reliable. She also attended a trip to the intermediate schools to promote the French program. Finally, Sonia has volunteered while participating in other time consuming extracurricular activities and while taking many advanced classes, including an advanced French course.

Editors Note - Every week we will publish the BRHS Students of the Week. Congratulations to all those students recognized.
