BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township has announced that milling and paving is set to begin Monday on Garretson Road, from the Bridgewater-Raritan High School western driveway to Downey Road.

The project, according to information from Top Line Construction Corporation, is expected to take four days, with milling on Monday and Tuesday.

During work, the road will be closed to thru traffic, but open to local traffic and emergency vehicles. Uniformed police traffic directors will provide access to local residences, businesses and government agencies, by way of Commons Way and Woodlawn Avenue.

According to the release, surface course paving is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, and sections of Garretson Road will be entirely closed and inaccessible for periods of time. There will be restricted access to the Green Knoll Golf Course & Tennis Center, the Fairways Condominiums, Bridgewater-Raritan High School and the YMCA.
