BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Raritan man was arrested for allegedly shoplifting more than $400 worth of materials from The Home Depot on Promenade Boulevard around 3 p.m. Aug. 30, according to a report from the Bridgewater Township Police.

Anastasio Soumas, 46, of Raritan, was charged with shoplifting after he was allegedly found with $415 worth of merchandise.

Soumas was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.

Police made two other arrests for alleged incidents of shoplifting at Lord & Taylor in the Bridgewater Commons Mall.

In the first incident, according to a police report, Jamar Archer, 32, of Somerville, was charged with shoplifting at about 1:45 p.m. Aug. 29 after allegedly being found with merchandise valued at $110 from Lord & Tayor.

Archer was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.

On Sept. 1, at about 3:50 p.m., Asia Seyal-Mother, 38, of Pennsylvania, was arrested for shoplifting after allegedly being found with merchandise from Lord & Taylor, according to a police report.

The report said Seyal-Mother was allegedly found with a purse and cell phone cases, valued at about $420.

Seyal-Mother was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.
