New Brunswick Man Arrested on Drug Charges Following Road Rage Incident, Raritan Police Say

RARITAN, NJ - A New Brunswick man was arrested March 25 on drug charges after police were called to the parking lot of the Retro Fitness for an alleged road rage incident, according to a report from Raritan Borough Police.

Denzel Jones-Brewington, 22, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police were called to the gym, according to the report.

According to the report, Jones-Brewington also had an active warrant for his arrested out of the North Brunswick Township Municipal Court. He was taken into custody by the North Brunswick Township Police Department.

Police made other arrests for drug charges and more.

  • Adika Sutton, 39, of Orange, was arrested March 21 for possession of a controlled dangerous substance following a motor vehicle stop on Route 206. Sutton was also issued summonses for driving with a suspended driver's license, driving with a suspended registration and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Officers Benjamin Griffin and Evan Vacchiano investigated the incident.
  • Joseph Grosz, 19, of Bridgewater, was arrested March 23 for possession of a controlled dangerous substance following a motor vehicle stop on Route 202/206. Grosz was also issued a summons for having an unclear license plate. Officer Christopher Wren investigated the incident.
  • Emanuel Muldrow, 48, of Bridgeton, was arrested March 24 for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Route 206. Muldrow was also issued summonses for a loud muffler and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Officer Damien Chromowsky investigated the incident.
  • Michael Godden, 36, of Raritan, was arrested March 27 for simple assault, unlawful possession of a weapon (numerous knives) and certain persons not allowed to possess weapons, which stemmed from an assault at an apartment on West Somerset Street. Godden was lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing on a later date.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are investigating a report of a theft of more than $2,000 from a vehicle parked at the Home Depot, in the Bridgewater Towne Center, according to a report.
