BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Two New Brunswick residents were arrested for shoplifting May 8 after they were found with hundreds of dollars worth of items from Wegmans, according to Bridgewater Township Police.

Jingru Huang, 26, and Jarrod Welsh, 29, were charged with shoplifting after being found with $267 worth of merchandise.

Huang and Welsh were processed and released pending a court appearance.

Police made other arrests for disorderly conduct and more.

  • Alexander Ward, 23, was arrested for disorderly conduct after receiving a call from Arrowbrook Drive for the report of an unwated person at a residence. Ward was also arrested for resisting arrest and hindering apprehension. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • A resident of Cardinal Lane reported May 15 at 6:55 p.m. that there was a burglary to the attached garage of the residence. According to the report, someone entered the garage and removed copper wire and various building materials.
