BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Each week, two students at Bridgewater-Raritan High School will be honored as students of the week.
Students are chosen by teachers and staff in the high school.
The students of the week for the week of Jan. 19 are:
- Natalia Osorio - (nominated by Melissa Erickson) I am so thankful Natalia is in my Language and Literature SI class. She is always willing to help another student by re-explaining directions or making sure the students understand my expectations. Natalia is very helpful to my newer Spanish-speaking students. She frequently translates for them. When a new Spanish-speaking student arrives in our class, Natalia makes him feel welcome. She also talks about his schedule with him in Spanish to make sure the student knows where to go. I am very lucky to have Natalia in my class. Not only is she a hard worker and an excellent student, she is kind and helpful to others.
- Molly Mahoney - (nominated by Linda Canulette) Molly contributes to our community by volunteering at The Raptor Trust. Her work at the trust has been the focus of her Girl Scout Gold Award Project. Her love of nature and good citizenship carry over to BRHS, and we recognize the significant effort and accomplishment that the Gold Award represents.
Editors Note - Every week we will publish the BRHS Students of the Week. Congratulations to all those students recognized.
