Plainsborough Man Arrested for DWI Following Motor Vehicle Crash, According to Police Report


BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Plainsboro man was arrested July 28 for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.

Timothy Mcternan, 30, was arrested following the crash on East Main Street at about 5:45 p.m.

Mcternan was also issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Mcternan was processed and released pending a court appearance.

Police made other arrests for drugs and more at the end of the month.

  • Kieren Garrison, 23, of Somerset, was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance on Route 22 July 30. Garrison was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and disregard of a traffic control device. Garrison was processed and released pending a court appearance.
  • Jessica Seabrook, 43, of Bound Brook, was arrested July 30 for an outstanding warrant. She was sent to the Somerset County Jail.
  • Autumn Benning, 28, of North Brunswick, was arrested Aug. 1 for shoplifting after allegedly being found with $249 worth of merchandise from Target, at the Promenade Shopping Center. Benning was processed and released pending a court appearance.

Dunellen Man Arrested for Simple Assault Following Fight, According to Raritan Police

RARITAN, NJ - A Dunellen man was arrested for simple assault after police were called to a fight in progress on East Somerset Street, according to a report from Raritan Borough Police.

Franklin Cardenas-Hernandez, 34, was charged with simple assault in the incident March 11.

According to police, officers were sent to a residence on East Somerset Street for a report of a fight in progress.
