BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are investigating a motor vehicle crash on Route 22 Wednesday that included a compact school bus transporting students from Midland School.

According to a release from police, at about 3:19 p.m. there was a crash on Route 22 East near Buffalo Wild Wings. The two vehicles involved were a Mazda MZ 6 driven by Bhavesh Chauhan of Piscataway and a compact school bus driven by Kevin White of Somerset and registered to Transportation Inc. of Monmouth Junction.

Chauhan's vehicle, the release said, had two passengers, and all three were all transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset for minor injuries.

The school bus, the release said, was transporting four students, and they were transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Somerset for minor injuries.

The crash is still under investigation by the Bridgewater Township Police Department's Traffic Safety Bureau.
