Raritan Borough Approves Salaries, Wages for Borough Employees

RARITAN, NJ - Raritan Borough Council approved a resolution to fix salaries and wages for borough employees for 2017, with pay being retroactive to Jan. 1, 2017.

The approved pay is as follows:

  • Administrative Assistant, Public Works – $26,224
  • Administrative Assistant, Construction Office – $12.26/hr
  • Administrative Assistant, Borough Clerk – $15.06/hr
  • Administrative Assistant – $46,950
  • Alternate Deputy Registrar – $668
  • Building Subcode Official – $39.80/hr
  • Assistant to the Court Administrator – $22.30/hr
  • Assistant to the CFO/Tax Collector – $39,140
  • Bookkeeper, Library – $19.50/hr
  • Borough Administrator – $104,010
  • Borough Clerk – $62,689
  • Camp Staff – $9 to $17/hr
  • Chief Financial Officer/Certified Purchasing Agent – $79,028
  • Construction Official, Building Inspector, Plumbing Subcode Official – $74,978
  • Administrative Zoning Officer – $8,038

  • Court Administrator – $58,000

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are investigating a report of a theft of more than $2,000 from a vehicle parked at the Home Depot, in the Bridgewater Towne Center, according to a report.

A Hillsborough resident reported June 3 at about 5:58 p.m. that his vehicle had been burglarized while parked at the Home Depot. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. and 5:50 p.m.
