RARITAN, NJ - The Raritan Borough Police Department collected Hurricane Harvey relief supplies at police headquarters Sunday.

The donations will be taken down to the residents and first responders of Dickinson, Texas, after Sept. 13.

Cars came to the department nonstop through the afternoon to deliver supplies, and the Raritan Moose Lodge donated a $1,000 check to the cause.

The police department will still be accepting donations until Sept. 13 at the Raritan Borough Police Department, on First Street.

Items to donate include footwear (boots, sneakers, socks, foot powder), band aids, medical ointment to treat blisters, diapers, wipes, pull-ups, cleaning supplies, bottled water, bed linens, towels, toiletries and trash bags.

Raritan Police: Warren Man Arrested for DWI and More in Police Blotter

RARITAN, NJ - A Warren man was arrested Feb. 1 for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle violation, according to a report from Raritan Borough Police.

Wayne Krause, 68, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and speeding after being pulled over on Route 22 West.

Krause was processed and released pending a court appearance.

County Holding 5th Annual 5K Race to Wellness

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Somerset County Employee Wellness Committee is partnering with EmPoWER Somerset for the 5th Annual 5K Race to Wellness and 1-mile Fun Walk for county residents March 24.
