Raritan Woman Arrested on Drug Charges for Bringing Marijuana to Bridgewater Courthouse, According to Bridgewater Police

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Raritan woman was arrested for being in possession of marijuana at the Bridgewater Township Municipal Courthouse March 2, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.

Shaniah Reh-Lyn Spinelli, 21, was charged with possession of marijuana.

According to the police report, officers conducting a security screening of people entering the court found marijuana in Spinelli's purse.

Spinelli was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.

Police made other arrests for shoplifting and more over the last few weeks.

  • Ashley Herrera, 20, of Raritan, was arrested for shoplifting Feb. 26 after allegedly being found with merchandise valued at $88 from Target at the Promenade Shopping Center. Herrera was also charged with being in possession of marijuana. Herrera was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.
  • Rene Hill, 18, of Branchburg, was arrested for shoplifting Feb. 26 after allegedly being found with $104 worth of merchandise from Target at the Promenade Shopping Center. Hill was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.
  • Charles Jackson, 30, of Somerset, was arrested on Route 22 East Feb. 26 for being a fugitive from justice from Pennsylvania. Jackson was charged with being a fugitive from justice and hindering his own apprehension after he provided false information to a police officer. Jackson was lodged in the Somerset County Jail awaiting extradition.
  • Toronzo Williams, 44, of New York, was arrested for shoplifting Feb. 27 after allegedly being found with $540 worth of merchandise from Lord & Taylor in the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Williams was also found to have outstanding warrants from Paramus. He was lodged in the Somerset County Jail.
  • Heather Cupano, 29, of Annandale, was charged with shoplifting Feb. 28 after allegedly being found with $247 worth of merchandise from Wegmans. Cupano was lodged in the Somerset County Jail.
  • Adam Rodriguez, 21, of Bridgewater, was arrested on marijuana charges March 1 after being involved in a motor vehicle accident on Easy Street. Rodriguez was charged with possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and possession of marijuana. He was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.
  • Brad Mullen, 36, of Warren, was arrested for shoplifting March 2 after allegedly being found with $238 worth of merchandise from the Home Depot at the Promenade Shopping Center. He was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.
  • Anthony Spruill, 37, of Bound Brook, was arrested for being disorderly at the McDonald's at the Promenade Shopping Center March 2. According to the report, Spruill had a dispute with an employee of the restaurant and was asked to leave the property. He was charged with disorderly conduct and defiant trespassing. He was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are investigating a report of a theft of more than $2,000 from a vehicle parked at the Home Depot, in the Bridgewater Towne Center, according to a report.

A Hillsborough resident reported June 3 at about 5:58 p.m. that his vehicle had been burglarized while parked at the Home Depot. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. and 5:50 p.m.
