BRIDGEWATER, NJ - With the potential for another snow storm bearing down on Bridgewater and Raritan Wednesday, the district has advised what will happen to the calendar if more snow days are needed since the three regularly allotted days have already been used.
As of the last nor’easter in early March, the district has used all three snow days built into the school year.
If additional snow days are needed, the district will be open first on April 26 and then on April 2.
Both days are currently days off, but will be taken back if more snow days are used.
According to the National Weather Service, Bridgewater and Raritan are currently under a winter storm watch from Tuesday evening through Wednesday evening, with a potential for 5 to 8 inches of snow and ice accumulations of up to one-tenth of an inch.
Power outages are possible, and there could be winds gusting 20 to 30 miles per hour.
