SCVTHS Gifted and Talented Honors Theater Arts Program Presents Godspell

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School Gifted and Talented Honors Theater Arts Program is proud to present the rock musical "Godspell."  

SCVTHS Gifted and Talented Theater Arts Program Coordinator Joseph Mancuso stated, “It is my hope that both our SCVTHS students and our ever expanding audience base are inspired by the production and can learn from this rare and unique show about how to treat others.”

"Godspell" will be presented in the auditorium of Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School, at 14 Vogt Drive in Bridgewater.

Show times are scheduled for Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. 

General admission to the show is $15, seniors and non-SCVTHS students are $5, and SCVTHS students and staff are free.  Tickets will be available at the door, or by reserving them through the box office at 908-526-8900 x7125.

Raritan Police: Warren Man Arrested for DWI and More in Police Blotter

RARITAN, NJ - A Warren man was arrested Feb. 1 for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle violation, according to a report from Raritan Borough Police.

Wayne Krause, 68, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and speeding after being pulled over on Route 22 West.

Krause was processed and released pending a court appearance.

County Holding 5th Annual 5K Race to Wellness

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Somerset County Employee Wellness Committee is partnering with EmPoWER Somerset for the 5th Annual 5K Race to Wellness and 1-mile Fun Walk for county residents March 24.

The event, according to a release, is being held rain or shine at 9 a.m. at Duke Island Park, on Old York Road.

The 5K race is USATF certified.
