BRIDGEWATER, NJ - More than 100 professionals attended the Somerset County Business Partnership's (SCBP) monthly “Networking Night” at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Bridgewater Thursday night. BNI co-hosted the event. 

"This is the third time we are doing this each time it get's bigger and better," BNI Chapter Area Director Consultant, Paul Nelson said. "I am glad to see you all, mix together, network, build relationships, make some money and enjoy."

During the event SCBP Vice-President of Business Services, Chris Edwards announced next month's "Networking Night" will celebrate the retirement of SCBP President/CEO Michael Kerwin at Bridgewater Manor.

"I will see everybody next month, first drinks going be on me," Kerwin said. "I want to thank everybody for their support over the year."

In addition to networking over drinks and appetizers, attendees had the opportunity to win a wine basket and Maggiano's gift card.


"Tonight was another great networking night," Edwards said. "Many of our members and attendees made new connections that will hopefully pay off in the future for them.  Whether it's finding a new customer or someone who can save their organization some money, it’s all about building visibility in the business community."

The SCBP's key goals and objectives are to foster public leadership, advocacy, economic and community development, and value/engagement, providing leadership, opportunity, and results to the Somerset County business community. 

The next Networking Night will be held at Bridgewater Manor, located at 1251 US Highway 202-206 in Bridgewater, on Wednesday, March 04.
