Somerset Patriots Spring Training Begins April 11

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Somerset Patriots open Spring Training at TD Bank Ballpark April 11 and will continue preparations for the 2017 season through April 20.

All the dates at TD Bank Ballpark are open to the public to attend. The current schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, April 11th, Workout at 11 am;

Wednesday, April 12th, Stretch/ BP at 9:30 am, Intrasquad game at noon; 

Thursday, April 13th, Stretch/ BP at 9:30 am, Intrasquad game at noon;

Friday, April 14th, Stretch/ BP at 9:30 am, Intrasquad game at noon;

Saturday, April 15th, AWAY Game at York Revolution at 2 p.m.;

Sunday, April 16th, Stretch/ BP at noon; Intrasquad game at 2 p.m.;

Monday, April 17th, HOME Game vs. York Revolution at 2 p.m.;

Tuesday, April 18th, Stretch/ BP at 9:30 am, Intrasquad game at noon;

Wednesday, April 19th, Workout Time TBD;

Thursday, April 20th,Stretch/ BP at 9:30 am, Intrasquad Game at noon.

All times and workout activities are subject to change. This is the seventh year that the Patriots are hosting Spring Training at TD Bank Ballpark.

Tickets to the 2017 Somerset Patriots season, which includes the team’s 20th anniversary, are on sale now. TD Bank Ballpark will be the host of the 2017 Atlantic League All-Star Game July 12. For more information, stop by the ballpark, call 908-252-0700, or visit

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Bridgewater Township Police are investigating a report of a theft of more than $2,000 from a vehicle parked at the Home Depot, in the Bridgewater Towne Center, according to a report.

A Hillsborough resident reported June 3 at about 5:58 p.m. that his vehicle had been burglarized while parked at the Home Depot. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. and 5:50 p.m.
