Students Honored as Bridgewater-Raritan Pop Warner All-American Scholars

ORLANDO, FL - On May 27, Luke Tesoriero and Matt Tusim represented the Bridgewater-Raritan Pop Warner Football program at the 2016 All-American Scholar Weekend at Disney's Yacht Club Resort in Orlando.

This year’s event included an opportunity to meet and get autographs from speakers at the banquet, including Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks, Tennessee Titans Pro Bowl tight end Delanie Walker and Green Bay Packers linebacker Sam Barrington.

Pop Warner motivates athletes by recognizing accomplishments both on the field and in the classroom. Only the top 2 percent academically of all Pop Warner participants across the country are recognized as Pop Warner All-American Scholars.

Somerville Woman Arrested for Shoplifting from Macy's, According to Bridgewater Police Report

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A Somerville woman was arrested for allegedly shoplifting more than $400 worth of merchandise from Macy's at the Bridgewater Commons Mall July 7, according to a report from Bridgewater Township Police.

Sara Morales-Silva, 51, was charged with shoplifting after she was found with about $435.04 worth of merchandise from the store.

Rutgers Hikes Tuition, Student Fees for 2018-2019 Academic Year

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Rutgers University Board of Governors approved a 2.3 percent hike in tuition and fees, as well as increases for dorm rooms and meals, for the 2018-2019 academic year.
