Suspected Drug Dealer Busted in Bridgewater, Police Recover $46K in Heroin, Methamphetamine

SOMERVLLE, NJ – A Bridgewater woman was arrested on charges for drug dealing after police found $46,000 in heroin and methamphetamine in her residence, according to Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson.

Gladys Gulle, 29, of Sycamore Avenue, was charged with first degree possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and second degree possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, Robertson said.

According to Robertson, detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force obtained a search warrant for Gulle's residence after an investigation into the distribution of drugs.

Detectives executed the search warrant on Feb. 24, Robertson said, with assistance by the Bound Brook police K-9 unit. Through the search, Robertson said, detectives seized about five ounces of methamphetamine and about 46 grams of heroin. 

Gulle was arrested without incident after the search, Robertson said.

The seized methamphetamine has an estimated street value of $26,000 and the heroin has a street value of $20,000, Robertson said.

Gulle is being held in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.
