To the Editor:
My family and I would like to take this opportunity to send a very heartfelt thanks to the BRHS administration – principal, vice principals and any other staff who coordinated and so seamlessly accomplished the daunting task of this year’s "drive-by graduation."
Because these past few months have been shrouded in uncertainty and filled with such extraordinary circumstances, we simply weren’t sure what to expect; but when the procession, including the fire chief, a fire truck, bus and police cars (literally with all the bells and whistles) turned the corner, it instantly brought tears to our eyes. As our family and friends gathered around to see our son receive his diploma, the staff made it a point to acknowledge this accomplishment and make him feel very special.
Despite the overwhelming task of getting to each student on time, they never rushed us, and even went so far as to offer to take a group photo so we would always have a memory of his special moment.
We can’t imagine the time it took to organize such a massive undertaking for a class of approximately 700, but please know that our family, and I’m sure many others in the Bridgewater-Raritan community, are very grateful for your efforts.
BRHS, thank you so much for your outstanding support and individualized acknowledgement of our seniors!
