BRIDGEWATER, NJ - World War II veteran Frank DeVita celebrated his 95th birthday Friday with a car parade in his honor past his house, on Ardsley Lane.

Bridgewater police cars, fire trucks and township cars lined up, alongside family members and friends to drive past his home and honk as DeVita stood outside his home and waved to those who drive by. Mayor Matthew Moench, along with police officers, firefighters and township officials sent out happy birthday messages as they drove past along Ardsley Lane.

DeVita also received a proclamation from the township celebrating his birthday and his service to the country.
